Whew! Those nasty temperatures are gone, the Chinooks are calming, leaving great winter fly fishing. Waters are low and clear and the trout are receptive...can't ask for anything more. Amazing Fall , fishing has continued to be excellent . Waters are in nice shape throughout the Open sections on the Crow and Oldman. Temperatures are co-operating giving us beauty days on the water. Great Summer!! Waters were low , clear and full of hungry trout. The Cutties were keyed in and continued hammering dries...big PMD  and Green Drake hatches on The Oldman , Crowsnest and Castle. The finicky Crow Rainbows were in a generous mood, and continue to be eager. We've been fortunate to have the cloudy days and intermittant rains keeping the  water temperatures necessary for happy trout. Thanks to Sam Grenier and Adam Chiasson for the great assistance, guiding and shop talking! Blue wing olive time is fast approaching. Shop hours remain 8-5 7 days. Great conditions on the Crowsnest! The rains brought relief and stirred up some bugs. Fly shop backed with new inventory including Patagonia, Echo, Airflo Rio, and Korkers. Open 8-5 Wednesday thru Sunday until June 14..then 7 days/week...Summit lake and the Oldman are fishing well also..spawners still at it so please avoid the redds, usually in the shallows where you might cross...Susan
